So as we were putting on Nrrd Boy's rooster costume, which fit like a dream only last week, we discovered that it no longer even came close to fitting. So after a hurried 6 p.m. rush to Target ...
IGN has an awesome preview of the Wii's Rayman Raving Rabbids, which I'd always assumed was a basic platformer with a lot of bunny slapping.
But instead, it turns out it's a collection of 80 party games tied into a story, which definitely plays to the Wii's multiplayer strengths.
Let's see, about a week before daycare starts back up for Nrrd Boy.
What can we do to celebrate?
Caught onto the Dandy's about 6 months ago, and they just put out a new single available only through iTunes Europe.

Despite my dad and two younger brothers being incredibly handy with a hammer, saw, wiring, etc., I am not even the least bit interested in building or fixing things, often opting instead to let someone who knows what they're doing have a go at it.
Since buying our house, and all of Nrrd Boy's intricate toys and playhouses, I've had to quite a bit of piecing things together with my Craftsman electric screwdriver. When I do good, I do very good (the new entertainment center), and when I do bad, I do very bad (the super pricey propane BBQ that Nrrd Mom got me for Valentine's Day several years ago that was a PAIN IN THE ASS).
Although the project I started last night, a L-shaped breakfast nook with table and bench is already the most daunting task yet. As long as everything goes according to plan, it should be a great way to give us spacious eating space in our relatively small dining area, but there are just so many goddamn small pieces and screws that my head feels like it'll explode just thinking about it.
I assembled the table and bench last night, and it works/looks very nice, but I'm thinking the L-shaped part will take at least two evenings to finish. Wish me luck!
